Mubashir Cheema
Cheema has frequently worn the hats of entrepreneur, software engineer,
and manager. No stranger to the world of startups, Cheema began his
business career in college by selling modems from his dormitory room.
The small modem supply business quickly grew into a thriving online
store during the dawn of the World Wide Web, and not only survived the
rise of fierce competition and the dot-com bust, but continues to be
profitable today. After getting his company off the ground, Cheema
returned to his software engineering roots by joining Intel, where he
contributed to the company's development of television set-top box
platforms and other embedded devices. Today, Cheema continues to
provide value to the television industry by developing software and
guiding business development for Sparco Media.
